Holiday with Emperor Divers and we can guarantee one of the stand-out features of your time with us will be the food.
Our chefs continually serve up amazing meals which leave our guests raving about the fantastic fare on offer.
And we cater for various dietary needs without any reduction in the quality on offer.
Which is why we’re very happy to celebrate World Vegan Day, which takes place annually on November 1, by promoting the wonderful work our teams are doing.
Take, for example, our Red Sea liveaboards. Our menu there includes a great range of vegan and vegetarian food which focuses on flavour and fulfilment – not just ticking a box.
Emperor’s Tracy Atkinson was instrumental in developing and implementing the menu and she says: “In Egypt many of the local dishes are actually vegan and the use of lentil, chickpeas and beans is very common, so we just had to realign the chefs thinking and make a few more traditional dishes.
“Just by adding some more substantial items like the no-meat ‘meat balls’, the white beans and carrot burgers, and falafel burgers we are adding a lot more variety and also protein for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters as they are all served on the main buffet.
“We also have oat milk and almond milk as a standard on our Red Sea boats.”
And it’s not just us bragging. Recent comments from our guests include ‘big compliments for the food service and special treatment for me as a vegan guest! Really thoughtful’ and ‘the food was outstanding, the chefs did a brilliant job of catering for the vegans on board’.
