I would also totally recommend diving around Marsa Alam in January, just make sure you wear a wet suit and a shorty!

What really made the trip memorable was the crew. Wow, do they work hard and have a great time doing it.
Nihed was always happy to have a conversation and ensuring that everyone was having a good time. He took care of all the fine details of the trip and served as a great crew leader alongside Phil, who brought his knowledge and passion for the ocean to the team. Phil’s dive briefings, along with his beautifully drawn dive site maps, were always informative and enjoyable.
Danny, our guide made sure that we had an enjoyable diving experience, adjusting to the currents and pointing out all the marine life we wanted to see, including mantas, wobbegong sharks, reef sharks, pygmy seahorses, and nudibranchs, the list goes on….
Gustin and Jarod were also great, though I didn’t dive with them.
The kitchen staff—Dimos, Ari, and Nandar did a great job making delicious meals for all the hungry divers on the boat, while accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences.
Elon, Lee, and Andi were amazing front of the boat staff, serving our meals, making us drinks, and discussing the day’s dives. Their attentiveness and attention to detail were impressive. The boat even organized a fun sunset cocktail party on the beach for us one evening.
Captain Augestian and his officers, Salgap and Asbullah, ensured that the boat sailed smoothly and navigated to the best areas and conditions during the trip.
The dingy drivers, Wawan, Anto, and Emang gave us a sporty ride to and from the boat and divesites. Who knew diving from a dinghy would be so fun!
The boat engineering crew—Tatok, Amir, and Harry kept everything running smoothly. They refilled our tanks after each dive and also gave us a tour of the engine room one evening.
Raja Ampat and the HARMONI was a trip I’ll never forget. If you’re considering a liveaboard trip with outstanding service and beautiful coral gardens, HARMONI is where it’s at. Once you’re on board, you’ll have the opportunity to see for yourself how amazing and fun this crew is. Happy diving!

Met Mustafa “Luxor ;-)” een prachtige snorkelervaring gehad, machtig mooi. Veel uitleg over de soorten vissen en hij toonde me ook de goed verstopte 🙂
De theorie had ik thuis volbracht, met een klein hartje begonnen aan de Open Water Diver praktijk. Ik ben daar zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, alles wordt vooraf heel duidelijk uitgelegd wat voor vertouwen en rust zorgt. Nog eens heel erg bedankt Zohdy om zoveel geduld met me te hebben, me veilig te laten voelen, jij hebt me leren duiken maar me ook zo laten genieten van de onderwaterwereld. Deze ervaring vergeet ik nooit. ‘T Was magisch.
Dit alles is niet mogelijk zonder manager Ahmed Saied, eerst was ik er wat bang van met zijn strenge blik 😉 maar dat veranderde snel. Hij runt daar een parachtig team, waar je de warmte tussen hen voelt. Je merkt ook dat veiligheid daar top prioriteit is. Alles wordt perfect gepland en gedubbelcheckt.
Want er zijn natuurlijk toeristen die de ademautomaat openen en onderdompelen om te spoelen om er dan eens in te blazen 🙁 Dat was ik dus, echt schaamtelijk….maar Ahmed heeft mij vergeven 🙂 Dat ga ik dus nooit meer voorhebben.
De crew dat helpt bij het uitzoeken van gepaste uitrusting zijn ook echt geweldig.
Kortom een prachtige ervaring, ik kom zeker terug.

Ein riesen Dank an die Crew, die wirklich alles getan hat, für ein reibungslosen Ablauf, für saubere Zimmer und ausgezeichnetes Essen.
Das Tauchen war unvergleichlich und die Dive Guides haben den Tagesablauf auch mal spontan an die lokalen Gegebenheiten angepasst, sodass wir antizyklisch zu den anderen Booten getaucht sind. Dadurch hatten wir teils volle Spots für uns allein.

The center takes safety and equiment maintenance very seriously. Everyone there is very helpful, funny and sincere.
I can recommend everyone who wants to start diving or do further trainings to go to this diving center.
