Honestly, an 11/10 dive company. I’ve dived with a lot of different companies over the years, and Emperor had stood out as one of the best.
My partner is new to diving, so we wanted a company that valued safety and security to help him build confidence – we were fortunate enough to be paired with Sayed for the day and he was incredible to dive with. We did the house reef, it was a short walk from the dive centre and we were able to enter and exit the water from the pontoon stairs. Sayed was very easy to dive with, spoke excellent English and planned the dives perfectly to suit my partner capabilities.
Most of the diving equipment was near new, good quality brands and if something wasn’t quite right – they were happy to swap and change until we felt comfortable. A huge added bonus that Nitrox wasn’t an additional charge 🎉.
If time permitted, we would have loved to continue our days in Sharm doing boat dives with Sayed and Emperor, however with a looming flight, we were limited to just the day.
Thank you to all the team, if we ever visit Egypt again, we would only want to dive with you 🫶🏼🫶🏼 🫧

Das Schnuppertauchen war der Hammer. Diese Erfahrung möchte ich nicht mehr missen.
Ich tauchte ein in eine faszinierende Unterwasserwelt.
Die Tauchlehrer waren sehr nett und kompetent. Es wird vorher alles erklärt. Man wird an die Hand genommen und der Tauchlehrer übernimmt die Bedienung des Gerätes.
Nur richtig Atmen muss man selbst – und natürlich den Druckausgleich nie vergessen.📷

We have just spent an excellent week diving with Simon as our dive master. His briefings were always very clear, and each dive—lasting around one hour—was extremely well organized, safe, and enjoyable. Thank you, Simon, for all of this, but also for the short evening presentations on the marine life of the Red Sea at the lodge, which were all very interesting.
We dived with Nitrox throughout the week. The entire dive center staff was outstanding. They took excellent care of the equipment and ensured that everything ran smoothly and efficiently at all times. A highly professional, friendly, and attentive team that made the whole diving experience relaxed and stress-free.
Our only criticism is that the additional cost for boat dives is relatively high. Only shore dives are included in the diving package, which is not clear at first glance. That said, the boats are very comfortable, and the lunch served on board is excellent, so the quality is there.
Overall, it was a great diving experience that we would definitely recommend.

I had an amazing experience doing my PADI Open Water course with Caroline at Emperor Divers Honiara. She was an incredible instructor—patient, knowledgeable, and always encouraging, which made the learning process so enjoyable. The equipment at Emperor Diver Honiara was top-notch, ensuring I felt safe and confident throughout my dives. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to explore the underwater world!
Es war eine der unglaublichsten Liveaboard-Trips, die ich je gemacht habe. Alles hat gepasst: von der Hotelabholung über die Tour selbst, die gut organisierten Tauchgänge bis hin zum tollen Essen.
Jedes Crew-Mitglied hat sein bestes gegeben.
Sehr zu spüren war auch, dass jedes Crew-Mitglied die gleiche Wertschätzung von Seiten der Emperor Company erfährt, egal auf welcher Position er ist.
Alle haben (auch durch diese Wertschätzung) Spaß an ihrem Job und sind super motiviert.
Das ist (leider) nicht bei allen Veranstaltern so.
Über Raja Ampat muss man wirklich kein Wort verlieren: es ist wirklich eines der letzten Paradiese dieser Welt.
Ich komme sicherlich nochmal wieder. Und wenn: wieder mit Emperor.
Gebucht habe ich übrigens über Charlys Tauchreisen in Wendelstein, die mir all meine Wünsche vor und nach der Tauchsafari (incl. Inlandsflügen und diversen Transfers) super organisiert haben.

We just spent 3 incredible days diving with Emperor on boats Amy & Isa. We had 2 amazing DMs, Taki & Marwan, who were not only great fun and super friendly but extremely safety conscious and knowledgeable about all the dives sites we visited. A special thanks to Taki for all the laughs!
I would also totally recommend diving around Marsa Alam in January, just make sure you wear a wet suit and a shorty!

Wir waren heute zum Schnuppertauchen und anschließend Schnorcheln.
Es hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Taki hat sich viel Zeit genommen, um uns alles genau und verständlich zu erklären.
Von uns beiden eine klare Weiterempfehlung!

We had a fantastic day diving with Paul. We have been on the Solomons Master for a week and had a few days in Honiara so decided to dive the wrecks. Paul and Caroline were very professional and organized picking us up and driving us to the sites the B17 and the hinahawa Maru (maybe wrong on the name!) Paul was very professional but also allowed us to explore and relax underwater. If you are in Honiara this is a must do. Also go to the museum near the B17 and see the incredible artifacts there. Worth the extra bit of money.
