It’s just a few days since EasyJet announced their flights right through until the end of September next year and that means the best prices are available right now before the planes start filling up.
We have found some returns around, or even under, £200 from the UK with the Gatwick to Hurghada flight on Thursdays tying in perfectly with our liveaboards.
An extra bonus now is the new road from Hurghada to Port Ghalib/Marsa Alam. This opened officially in 2021 and has taken at least 30 minutes off the journey south, bypassing the city of El Qusier making our liveaboards even more accessible. A standard microbus journey from Hurghada airport to Port Ghalib takes 2 hours and 15 minutes, so if there’s no flights you can find to Marsa Alam then it’s a much easier trip down than before!
There are also over 20 flights a week leaving from various UK airports into the ever-popular Sharm el Sheikh where the teams of Emperor Marcus and Empress Shorouk will be ready and waiting to fulfil all your day-diving requirements.
