Located at the new Port Ghalib Marina City complex, Emperor Divers offers the most convenient service available in the Port Ghalib area. Our fleet of day boats are moored right on the jetty.
Hotels ranging from 3-star to 5-star luxury are available either inside Port Ghalib or less than 15 minutes from the port – and of course we transfer you for free every day!

Emperor Divers offers the most convenient service available in the Port Ghalib area.
We operate from our brand-new dive shop in the Port Ghalib Marina City complex which is positioned right on the waterfront. No more water taxis or bus rides needed, all the shops, hotels, restaurants and boats of Port Ghalib are on the same part of the marina as us and a few minutes’ walk away.
We have all the facilities you would expect from equipment rinse to luggage store and, of course, a fully-stocked shop. Our boats, Emperor Skye and the larger liveaboards, are right next door so you can walk to them in a couple of minutes or take it easy by zodiac tender if you prefer! And we offer complimentary collection from all hotels within 20km of Port Ghalib so wherever you choose to stay, there’s every reason to dive with us..
You can choose a range of activities including water sports, diving, looking for dolphins, snorkelling, as well as the traditional camel rides and desert safaris. For snorkellers the in-shore coral reefs offer fantastic marine-life experiences, including giant green turtles.
PADI Courses
As a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre we teach a full range of courses from Learn to Dive to Open Water and Advanced.
Pools of differing depths and shallow sandy bays accessible by boat provide the ideal locations to practice skills while air-conditioned classrooms, a Divers Bar and our best-ever retail shop complete the ‘welcome guest’ experience. You’re never far from your team, your boats or your next dive.
Our instructors and guides speak a range of languages including English, German, French, Italian and Arabic (please check to make sure at the time of booking).
Getting to Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam
It’s very easy to get to our dive centre in Port Ghalib either independently or booking with one of the major tour operators providing great value holidays from many European airports. If you’re coming from further afield then regular domestic flight connections from Cairo to Marsa Alam (RMF) are available with Egypt Air. Port Ghalib is only a five-minute taxi ride from the airport and some hotels offer a shuttle service.
The Port Ghalib area offers a wide variety of hotels and Emperor provide daily pick-ups to and from most hotels within 15/20 minutes. Our reservations team live in Egypt so please ask them for any local information to make your travel plans easier.
It’s also possible to fly into Hurghada (HRG) and get a taxi to Port Ghalib. Transfers can be booked online and take about 2.5 hours.
