January is the cheapest time of the year for flights and dive sites are at their quietest. Take advantage of one of these two sailings and get yourself some winter diving and sun. Daytime air temperature is in the mid-twenties; water temperature is still around 22 degrees and there's a good chance we will have many of the dive sites all to ourselves.

Komodo Island will be remaining open to everyone

Here's some good news from Indonesia! Komodo Island will be remaining open to everyone. Indonesian authorities are working with all the parties involved to make sure the most sustainable practices are observed.

Tourism  has increased over the past few years but regular surveys have shown this hasn’t had a detrimental effect on those living on Komodo Island nor the Komodo dragons.

Emperor Indonesia welcomes this development and continues to be a leading player in helping to protect the environment and support the local population where possible.

Happy Guests!

'Safari to the southern Red Sea aboard Emperor Elite'
Have just returned from a fantastic trip aboard the Emperor Elite sailing from Port Ghalib down south to St. Johns, taking in Fury Shoals before returning via Elphinstone Reef. Dived with Oceanic White Tipped Reef shark at Elphinstone. The crew and the boat were excellent. Our grateful thanks to Hanni a superb dive guide and to his colleague Rami.

'5 stars is not enough!'
From arrival on Emperor Superior, we were welcomed and we felt right at home! The boat is wonderful, the dive guides (Sonia, Tracy and Boody) were the best, the crew is super service oriented! Good briefings, amazing extra info session by Sonia, oh and I haven't even mentioned the food. Sooooo yummie! Thank guys (and girls), you are the best! We will certainly be back!
Leen Everaerts

'Wow exceeded my expectations take me back'
My 2nd trip with Emperor the first was last year on the northern reefs and wrecks and this year South and St Johns. Two different boats the Elite and the Echo both well kitted out. All the Emperor crew and staff can't do enough for you from the dive guides to the cabin boys. My room must have been tidied after nearly every dive.
The food was better than any all-inclusive I have been on.
The dive guides knowledge is second to none (special mention to Amr what a guy).
The administration with booking and the payment for your trip was easy and smooth.
Doubt I would use anybody else for the Red Sea.
Safety is advised and enforced if necessary but you are still allowed to dive within your limits and qualifications My last trip fulfilled lots of bucket list items.
Dived with the Oceanic white tip numerous times dolphins turtles Napoleon Wrasse Spanish dancers and more hard and soft corals than you can imagine.
Hope to see you soon.
David Disley
