Fascinating report by dive guide, Anke Westerlaken on Emperor Asmaa. Read it and you'll be transported...
Special thanks to Bart Adema for sharing his video. All shown pictures are clippings from his videos (more to follow).
As summer is warming Egypt’s Red Sea, life is more abundant every week with beauty in both deep and shallow waters. From white tips in caverns, to turtles on the top of Radirs Reef. Dolphins sleeping around our safari boat and a zebra shark at 24 metres at Serenaka south. Or what about hunting Murray eels or a dugong feeding on see grass. As unbelievable as it sounds, this is the beautiful life of Egypt’s Red Sea visited by Emperors liveaboard, Asmaa.

Maldives 'Awesome' diving holiday

| No TrackBacks

Thanks to Naz Hussain and Rob Felix for this insightful review from their recent holiday on Emperor Atoll (and to Naz for the wonderful 'need to be there' photos)...

"We've both been suffering pretty bad from those 'post holiday blues!

The boat - Awesome! It was clean, small and cosy and just the right size for the number of guests. Food was out of this world! seriously, I kid you not -that chef deserves a pay rise! It was hot. Always served in a timely manner and variety was so good that in the two weeks we were there we never got bored of it.

There was ample space on the deck for some 'quiet time' if you needed to get away from the others but also enough social space for everyone to get together and have a chat."

The Hamada in Hamata - Sport Diver article

Read this fascinating article from the April issue of Sport Diver magazine.

"Marsa Alam and Hamata both offer pristine dive sites away from the madding crowd but Mark Evans was most excited about exploring a shipwreck midway between the two which sank in mysterious circumstances."

El Gouna WOWS Canadian guests

"Hi Emperor El Gouna, Michelle, Terry, Gareth, Ehab and all staff. Greetings from the Canadian gang in Nairobi where the monsoon has arrived and it is pouring rain ...again.
Many thanks to everyone for making our recent trip a great success. All of our divers came back smiling and ALL realized that our enjoyment was due to a really good team effort from all the staff at Emperor.
I think it would be fair to say that a couple of our group were not always the easiest of customers but full credit to your great team who managed to make sure that everyone came home happy.
An especial thanks to Gareth who was a model coordinator nd made sure we were able to dive some of the Classics. And to Terry who proved to have reservoirs of diplomacy that may have been tested a few times but who managed to keep everyone smiling. The boat crew deserve to be mentioned too as they were first class too and always extremely helpful.
No sooner were we back than we have started to plan the next El Gouna.  Don't think there needs to be much more said.
Again, many thanks to all and especially Gareth and Terry who were outstanding. Look forward to seeing you all again soon."

“Great Diving”

5 of 5 starsReviewed 3 May 2015 NEW

I dived with a group last year on a liveaboard with Emperor Divers and had a great time so this year (16.04.15) I took a group out (Geordie Divers) and decided to do daily diving out of Sharm so got in touch with Emperor Divers and what a great choice. The organisation, the Dive guides, the Boat were all second to none.

My group thoroughly enjoyed everyday on the boat and the diving. Everyone involved were courteous and friendly at all times. The food on the Shorouk was very good as well. I will be booking with Emperor on our next outing for sure.

“An excellent way to dive safely”

5 of 5 starsReviewed 30 April 2015 NEW

Having just returned from my first diving holiday, I cannot thank Emperor Divers enough for making it such an amazing experience. They are knowledgeable, fun, confidence-building and good value. As a novice I was looked after extremely well and a massive thank you to Hamza for being so patient and encouraging (while retaining a sense of humour) and Tracey for being equally supportive and entertaining. I owe you both for starting me off under the sea!

The organisation was efficient, the crew could not have been nicer and the fellow divers were lovely. The boats are comfortable and clean, with excellent food. It's a very well-run operation that maximised my enjoyment and I wouldn't hesitate to return there. Thanks, see you next time!!
