Hi Paul,
Thanks for your forum post.
Here is some information on the other resorts that may be of some help.
Sharm el Sheikh
This cosmopolitan resort lies at the very tip of the Sinai Peninsula. Spectacular mountains and desert scenery form a stunning backdrop to the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea.
Sharm el Sheikh is the ideal resort for both avid diving enthusiasts and sun worshippers. Resort life is centred on lively Naama Bay, a long stretch of sandy beach with a beautiful promenade. Naama Bay offers a fantastic choice of restaurants, bars, nightlife and shops.
Sharm el Sheikh offers a spectacular and diverse range of dive sites that are amongst the best in the world. From the famous Ras Mohamed Marine Park, to some of the most renowned wrecks in the Red Sea, the sheer number of sites means that there is something for all divers.
Marsa Alam
The area has long been the preserve of liveaboards but, increasingly, guests are choosing one of the resort hotels dotted along this coastline for a relaxing shore based holiday.
Marsa Alam is the gateway to the exciting, uncrowded Southern red Sea and it's pristine reefs, Elphinstone and Abu Dabab are just some of the famous reefs in the area. The dives and bays around Marsa Alam are home to excellent corals, large turtles, guitar sharks and spanish dancers. This is virgin diving at it's best.
Nuweiba
Situated 200km north of Sharm el Sheikh and it's palm fringed beaches nestle magnificently between the deep blue of the Gulf of Aqaba and the stunning mountains of the Sinai. Nuweiba offers a quiet getaway with some fantastic shore diving.
