Diving in the Red Sea with Emperor

Red Sea Dive Resorts - Nuweiba

Introduction

"I personally believe my diving has improved at least four-fold since I first came to Emperor Nuweiba. I put this down to the professional approach to diving and the friendliness of all the staff you have - nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for anyone - also to the wonderful dive sites at and around Nuweiba."
André Ray & Beryl Brooke, England
When it's peace and quiet in a beautifully unspoiled setting you're after, then look no further than Nuweiba. The fantastic shore diving makes this the ideal place if you're a learner or a keen underwater photographer. Indeed, renowned diving photographer, Martin Edge, said of Nuweiba, "The best night dive ever"," as he photographed Spanish Dancers galore. It's really good for snorkelling, too.

Nuweiba's crystal clear waters are an amazing showcase for the vibrant coral gardens and marine life. Of course, for those less inclined to dive, there's the option to leisurely laze on the 7km of golden, soft, sandy beach.

Nuweiba scuba diving
As André and Beryl have discovered, the team in Nuweiba is friendly and professional - what they don't know about this area, you could write on the back of a snorkel! What's more, you'll find your very own house reef here too, which means that this is a popular place for try dives and another 'must' for budding photographers.

Whether it's day diving, doing one of the trips below, learning to dive, taking your diving further or Tekstreme technical diving (Nuweiba now has oxygen compatible air and sofnolime for Rebreather divers), you will find the award-winning team at Emperor Nuweiba ready to give you a warm welcome.

Day trips: Dive sites

Non-diver?

If you should get bored of the golden, soft, sandy beach, try some of these:
  • horse riding, water sports or mini golf
  • optional excursions to Dahab or Petra
  • camel/dive safari to El Mazariq for snorkelling, but must go with a diver

What you could see beneath the sea

Parrotfish, Angelfish, Butterflyfish, Clownfish, Moray Eels, Unicornfish, Spanish Dancers, Lionfish and occasionally frogfish & seahorses.
