New Draeger Rebreathers and hotel in Nuweiba

And a new hotel, The Domina Elaria, in Nuweiba is now open. Emperor Divers has added this to its pick-up, which is less than five minutes by car from the dive centre. The hotel has 128 rooms and suites with terrace or balcony overlooking the sea, air conditioning, direct telephone, satellite TV, mini bar, hair dryer and safe deposit box.

A baby boy for Hurghada's Rose!

If you've dived Emperor Hurghada, undoubtedly you will know Rose Evans. And, like us, you will be over the moon to know that Rose gave birth to a baby boy on 30 August.

Rose has been with Emperor Divers for seven years, firstly as a dive guide and latterly efficiently handling guest relations for Hurghada.
Baby Talal Essam - Rose's and husband, Essam's, first child - was born in Cairo weighing in at 2.75kgs. Both mother and son are doing extremely well and everyone at Emperor Divers wishes the family the very best!
The team in Hurghada are looking forward to meeting Talal and will doubtless be kitting him out with his own baby-sized Emperor team outfit...until he's old enough for the scuba kit, of course!
