Emperor sponsors 'African Job'

From London to Cape Town, that's the aim of three men and a red London double-decker bus. Their goal is to travel the entire length of Africa, stopping off along the way to thank sponsors of the project and to raise money for charities.

This is no whim, the planning has taken two years and all members are trained in outdoor activity teaching and some spent time under military instruction...and brushing up on bus mechanics!

Whilst travelling through a range of countries, the group will be helping various charities, such as Orphanges for Children and Water Aid.

Along the way, they stopped off at Emperor's Sharm dive centre for a spot of diving and Emperor did its bit by sponsoring them to help along their way.

** News update

Here's what the team, Barry, Andy & Jonny, wrote about their time with Emperor...

The African Job is proud to announce that Emperor Divers is sponsoring the Egyptian leg. Their generous support and excellent hospitality made our stay in Sinai a massive highlight and the diving service and quality of the dive sites was superb.

Thanks boys - and the very best of luck!

The 'best' day boat in Sharm

Emperor really does take note of the feedback you give us - and to prove it we've taken on-board the comments about our day diving boat in Sharm, Empress Shorouk.

You love the other boats such as Isa, Amy and Rachel, well we have now upgraded Empress Shorouk in Sharm El Sheikh.

Fully refurbished with teak floors (ahem! the only one in Sharm with teak floors!) and built to the high standards of our boats in Hurghada, she now has the same layout and shape and measures in at 23m – so pretty spacious!

And the feedback we’ve had on the ‘new’ Shorouk is that Sharm divers say it’s one of the best in the area.
