The new delegations are settling in well to their new environment and have started to ask the Federation for assistance in many different areas in the quadrant.
My Number One, with the assistance of Mr Dav, has been assigned to help Principle John Kirton and his delegation from Bishops Stortford School in their quest to explore the outer regions of the Tiran System on an extended overnight expedition. With access to the Outback, more likely early in the earth day cycle and later in the same earth period, we have dispatched USS Mahy Tours to take up an observation position with the expectation of alien contact. Reports to date suggest that whilst some sightings have been made of one or two Hammer scouts in close proximity, the main group have so far remained out of sensor range.
Meanwhile, Mr Scott (Head of Security) and Mr Alex (Education Officer) have accompanied the Orca Diving delegation on a couple of training days in the Local Zone in preparation to their request for an overnight voyage beyond the Ras Mohammed System to a remote site called SS Thistlegorm, where they hope to conduct some night manoeuvres on Friday. It is expected that Number One will also take his team to this area the following day.
Two of the Fleet have continued to monitor the boarders of the Local Zone due to the continuing incursions by the species known as Whale Shark. The on going sightings keep baffling us as these creatures should have left the quadrant weeks ago according to historical records. Again, two were seen deep into the Local Zone at areas known as White Knight and Far Garden.
