Captains Blog 28708. Vice Admiral Larry and another member of the Saga Away Team have crossed the Neutral Zone for some R&R. I myself having been at the helm for 3 months have decided to take a break for a few days and join some Away missions to see events for myself first hand. I will therefore report on my findings when I return.
New Officers Gorana and Sarah D. have been placed on duty and have been awarded the 'Blue Shirt' at a ceremony over the weekend. Whilst Mr Dav has joined our technical division for a week to be trained on some of their deep exploration equipment. During one of his first dives he was able to report that whilst we believed the Whale Shark species preferred to stay near the surface it can descend to well below 50 metres as he encountered one at this depth at Ras Katy yesterday.
