“We are very proud of the entire team at Hamata, Marsa Alam and Sharm for Winning the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence. Many thanks to all our guests who took the time to complete a review,” said Luke Atkinson, Area Manager for Emperor Divers Red Sea. “Being recognised like this always creates a feel-good factor, especially when it comes from those very people who enjoyed the diving and service at Emperor.”

“Can't wait for my next liveaboard!”
Reviewed 12 May 2014 NEW
I was a bit sceptical when my dad suggested we go diving on a liveaboard- this was my first and I loved it!
We went with the elite, and the boat was huge and pretty luxurious- I was worried that it would be too crowded and you wouldn't have your own space- but I couldn't believe there were 11 crew, 20 divers plus the 2 dive guides on the boat. It was maintained and cleaned to a very high standard.
The food was always good, there was plenty of it. The crew realised I don't like peppers (don't like to make a fuss about it)- they made me food without peppers! Little touches like this really goes a long way. The last dive of the day, we are greeted with a lovely drink, I never really knew what they all were but they were delicious and much appreciated.
The dive guides were great, really loved what they do and were fun and interesting to be around. Even though they were around us pretty much all they time, they remained happy and friendly- even when one of them developed a cold!
All the staff were amazing.
It's a great way to become more experienced and confident with diving and learning from fellow divers also.
Great value for money, great diving, great people. What more can you ask for?!
I am looking forward to my next trip.

My husband and I spent 5 great days diving with Emperor Divers/Blue Brothers. What a great discovery!
The staff and owners are very friendly, fun, competent, and safety-conscious. A beautiful comfy boat, perfectly well equipped with sound equipment, fantastic crew and an excellent chef!

Our thanks to Mark Sharman for some wonderfully captured memories of wonderful Red Sea diving from a lovely, lovely liveaboard (and a great team too!).
MANTA! Lose yourself in this fantastic video of the manta at Elphinstone with Emperor Marsa Alam.
Taken just a few days ago, this is what you could be experiencing right now in the warm waters of the Red Sea.
The team tells us that the manta hung around for ages with the divers.
With hammerheads already seen there too, this year is going to be THE year of dream-inspiring sightings! (We'll have some great video footage of hammerheads in our next newsletter – and on Facebook).
Want to know why Hamata is THE place to freedive? Well, because it can offer a variety of ways to try your hand at the sport.
For instance, if freediving on the house reef isn't enough to whet the appetite, then there are special trips to the 65 metre long wreck of the Hamada, laying on its starboard side at 15 metres, or Hamata's dolphin house, Sha'ab Sataya, where huge pods of spinner dolphins are known to frequent (watch the video above).
Plus, Hamata offers considerably more protection from adverse weather than other Red Sea locations, with a variety of nearby shore based sites within 10-15 minutes.
Coral reefs here are pristine, untouched by tourism and teeming with life such as rays, turtles, dolphins, and so much more - all on your doorstep at the Zabargad Berenice Resort.
