Unlimited house reef diving, day diving plus easy access to liveaboard diving means visiting Hamata - one of the best Red Sea resorts for undisturbed dive sites.

This vast reef area includes some wrecks with Fury Shoals and Qulan Islands right on the doorstep, which can be dived daily with Emperor’s team.

Hamata’s fabulous house reef is within walking distance of the dive centre, based at the Zabargad Berenice Resort, with boat diving just three minutes away at the marina and a choice of staying at the Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort, with a two-minute free transfer.

Hotel/diving packages at the Zabargad Resort, which include five days’ unlimited house reef diving, room on a twin share HB basis and return transfers from Marsa Alam Airport to hotel, start from just £244 pp.

Prefer liveaboard diving? Emperor Asmaa 0613 med res.jpgDuring summer 2014 Emperor Asmaa sails from Hamata on a Sunday to St Johns and Fury Shoals and Port Ghalib on a Friday to Elphinstone and Fury Shoals. Prices start from £397 pp.

Emperor provides transfers from Marsa Alam Airport to its liveaboards in Marsa Alam and only charges a small supplement for liveaboards in Hamata and hotel packages in Marsa and Hamata. For more flight choice, Friday arrivals into Hurghada can take advantage of Emperor’s FREE Ride Friday with free transfers to Marsa Alam.
